History:


The Daphne Methodist Church began the Daphne History Museum in 1858. The church was erected in 1854 and is the second oldest temple in Baldwin County. The museum features exhibits on the history of Daphne and the surrounding area.

The Daphne History Museum'sgallery hosts a wide variety of art and artifacts. The museum has two main galleries - the Old World Gallery and the New World Gallery.

  • The New World Gallery contains artifacts from the Americas, including the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Library Services:

The Daphne History Museum's Library is open to the public and contains a wide variety of resources, including books, magazines, newspapers, maps, photographs, and genealogical materials. The Library is open from 10 am-4 pm on Tuesday to Saturday. Admission is free for members and $5 for non-members.
